Doesn't he have a dentist?

In case you haven't noticed.... he's British.

And no, no chemist, no minister.

I felt awful and distrustful doing so, but I went so far as to ask if there was something he was hiding from me (as in, a police record). Thankfully he didn't get upset, and thankfully he isn't hiding anything.

I'm sure it will get done. I'm also sure it will add a month to our timeline. And I'm sure I will go insane trying not to nag him to get it done.

Just to be sure... do you need to send the police certificate back with Packet 3, or do you just need to bring it to the interview?

Ok no chemist, no minister....but he went to school.

Sounds to me like he thinks it's a stupid requirement (which it is) and he just doesn't want to be bothered. I have to admit though, you're handling it a lot better than I would.

God I know! If it were my husband there would be no end of nagging... And I know the options given to him would be either A: grow a pair and get it done or B: not get the visa, don't move and not get married. I can be delightful when mad :) I think I need some of your zen!

I wanted to laugh yesterday. Half of our GP's at our surgery are new...to this country, never mind the surgery itself. We went to hubby's GP whom he has seen since 2004 and she was not sure if she had known him that long. Thankfully she looked back in the records and said oh yes that should be ok. Now I am waiting on a phone call saying she has signed the form and the picture as she couldn't do it there and then...plus they are going to charge us for it  Jeeze everyone is out to make some money off of this whole process money it seems. Even the NHS.

You really don't need to have had a relationship with them. I'm pretty certain you can get them to do it at the post office for a fee and you just have to take along a passport and another form of id. I'm sure the people at his local registry office would do it too.

Good luck, your being super patient!
