Hi All,

Can anyone advise us, as to how we get a date for 'Embassy Received". Do we get a tracking number or something from NVC or do we contact Embassy direct?

17th November 2007 - I129F SENT TO CSC

30th November 2007 - NOA1

2nd April 2008 2008 - NOA2

11th April 2008 - I had a nice piece of Marmite on toast

13th April 2008 - We had phone sex! LOL

21st April 2008 - NVC RECEIVED

23rd April 2008 - NVC SENT

3rd May 2008 - Packet 3 RECEIVED & SENT

13th May - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAPPENED TODAY! DOH!

29th May 2008 - PACKET 4 RECEIVED

5th June 2008 - MEDICAL

23rd June - INTERVIEW

28th August -MARRIED

The embassy will send you Packet 3; that's how Darren and I found out about our "embassy received" date...

7/7/08 - POE

7/11/08 - legal wedding

7/20/08 - AOS/EAD/AP sent to Chicago Lockbox

11/18/08 - AOS approved!!!

11/25/08 - Received welcome letter...and Green Card!!!

12/21/08 - ceremonial wedding

10/9/10 - Sent I-751 and started the fresh hell that is ROC

10/14/10 - NOA1 for ROC

10/29/10 - received appointment for Biometrics

11/22/10 - Biometrics appointment

Currently: Living blissfully with my Essex lad...

Yes they will send you out packet 3 when they receive your info from the NVC or you could call them , but it is very expensive or email them to ask. Do you have your LND#?

You can also call US State Department: (202) 663-1225 - press 1, then 0. they can tell you if your petition is in London, if P3 was sent to you and if your interview has been scheduled once P3 is returned.

Be prepared to wait.... thats all I can say... We have been waiting since the end of January to get a interview date. The State department number really is no help at all to be honest. Every time I call I get a different answer which basically means they know nothing.

but could not see LND.

it's your case number. but maybe you don't have it yet cos you get your LND case number on the letter that accompanies your Packet 3. Do you have a case number from the USCIS

Something is definitely amiss here. Personally, I would brace myself and pay the fee to call the embassy directly. Otherwise, I have a feeling you'll be waiting forever.
