Today I got two I-797C from USCIS. One was for I-130 saying The above petition has been approved. We sent the original visa petition to NVC. NVC will contact the person for whom you are petitioning concerning further immigrant visa processing steps.

The other was I-824 saying the above petition is approved and we have sent the original Immigrant visa petition to NVC which will forward to app consulate.

so NVC is going to contact my beneficiary directly in foreign country?

Thanks,

Romio

Yeap! They will send mails for the next step.

Thanks, so what exactly NVC will be sending to my beneficiary? when should she expect something from NVC, I will make her aware of this.

I'm confused too. If my husband has me (the petitioner) as his choice of agent ,does that mean that NVC will send all his information to me then? So then I will have to send all the information to him?

The NVC first sends the beneficiary the DS-3032 choice of agent form. They also send the petitioner a copy of this form for their records. You can e-mail the NVC your choice of agent as soon as the automated system says the DS-3032 has been generated. See the DS-3032 email form on the Wiki. This will save a considerable amount of time. Making the US citizen the agent means that they will receive all future paperwork from the NVC. You should as soon as possible prepare and send all the forms and supporting documentation to the US citizen so that they will have them ready when the NVC requests them. Some of these things can take a lot of time to procure, i.e. a police certificate/letter of conduct. Read James's Shortcuts on the Wiki which does a good job of detailing the things that should be prepared in advance, and also provides a link to the DoS page which details any additional items you may need for your particular consulate. Don't forget we have an NVC forum here too!
