My wife is about the same size as you 5'2" and about 54kg. Yesterday we went shopping for office clothes for her for summer. We went to The Gap, and Banana Republic and JC Penny. At JC Penny the smallest size to be had in petite was size 4 and when she tried on the pants they looked like they were made by Omar the tentmaker.

At the Gap she was able to find several pair of pants in a size 2 that conformed to her physique. The Gap has several styles to fit different body types. She paid roughly $50 per pair of pants.

At Banana Republic there was her size but the colours were not appealing to her.

I would also try small boutiques. Austin's gotta have a ton of them. However, I say this not because I am a size 0 but because when I go shopping in boutiques I'm always saying "goddammit, everything's a goddamm size 0!" :P
