Hey everyone.....I need help. Ahmed went to the travel agencies in Damanhour and they told him earliest flight was Wednesday but then he had to go get more money and when he back was already taken. But I can see flights here online for Tuesday and Wednesday. He thinks he has to have paper ticket in hand when he goes to get his military travel permission letter. I told him he will have a paper e ticket confirmation. He is worried that is not enough. Can anyone tell me if that is good or not. Need answers today if at all possible.....will buy ticket tonight so he can go to the military tomorrow for his travel permission and fly on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Here is his circumstances:

He is 24

He is in last year of college

He has letter from College already

Military told him he had to go to the Cairo Military Office since he was in last year of college.

Any help is appreciated.

Cheryl

when you buy tickets online most airlines don't use paper tickets any more so I'd think it'd be enough but thats just my opinion. best of luck to you!

What I really would like to know is anyone who used an e ticket before with the Cairo Military to get their Travel permission letter. But thanks for your support. I think too it will be fine....but Ahmed is worried.

Hi!

I actually work for American Airlines and I can assure you that an e ticket is all that is needed.

That's all 99% of travellers have nowadays as Airlines are doing away with paper tickets.

I've checked in lots of military guys who have just e tickets and their papers with them at the time of check-in.

He should be cool!

Best of luck!

Try to not buy a ticket with EgyptAir online...............that airlines seems to make things

difficult for their fellow Egyptian passengers.............I've seen it first hand........

If you love me, then I have everything I need

Thanks for all the responses. But I think you guys are misunderstanding my question which was probably my fault. I know the airlines will not have a problem with the e ticket. I am just afraid the Egyptian Military will not like the E ticket. Both times I flew to Egypt I used e tickets without problems. I am just worried we will get another obstacle fron the military so I am trying to be prepared. I will not feel better until he is out of Egypt.....and here.

Thanks again,

Cheryl
