If you were an illegal alien...

...and wanted to cross the border into Canada undetected, how would you do it?

Walk? Cycle? Swim?

Where would you do it? Michigan? Minnesota? North Dakota? Montana?

Obviously you would want to stay clear of immigration checkpoints.

To make it easier, let's assume that you have an accomplice (who is a US citizen

or permanent resident with a valid US driver's license), a car and expensive scuba

diving equipment.

Ideas?

Send the bill to the Department of Homeland Security, because your ideas will help us protect the border.

I don't know that much about the Canadian/US border but I would have thought driving across would be the easiest thing to do. I would imagine much of the border isn't monitored. However, if all the roads are monitored, I guess I'd walk. Swim? Too cold most of the year

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

my idea - a simple 2 step process:

1. invent teletransportation.

2. energize

Digging a tunnel takes years - let's assume you don't have years.

There aren't that many road crossings - I imagine all of them have checkpoints.
