Parent's b-days

I'm filling out the DS-230 and it asks for parents birth dates. I have the days, but don't have the years. I have his birth certificate and it has their ages. But we don't know if those were there ages when he was born or when his birth was registered. My hubby says when it was registered. He was almost 1 when it was registered. Because he says his mom was 13 and his dad was 19, but the ages on the certificate are 14 and 20. And looking this info up, I've realized that I put wrong years on the g-325a when I sent it in.

So I may be off a year on their birth dates. Does anyone know if this is going to cause a problem??? Also, if I put something different than was on the g-325a, is that going to cause a problem????

My opinion is that you have to put dates that are shown on those certificates, because they are official documents that show birth dates

The problems is they don't have birth dates on the birth certificate. They just have ages. I don't know if it is the ages when he was born or when the birth was registered. My husband says when it was registered, but I would think when he was born.

Maybe it is best to call nvc or us embassy in the country where the interview is gonna be

There are no dates on the certificates, that is the problem. I don't know the years that they were born!!!
