I've been sort of looking for a job the last few weeks and Ive determined I want more than just a paycheck. I'm currently working in technical sales and it's maddening.

I'd be willing to go back to school part-time.

I don't want to work in finance, law, or accounting.

My education background in life sciences [bS and some grad work] and would love to mix science and creativity somehow.

I don't even know what questions I should be asking myself....whether or not going for career counseling would make sense...

I figure I have months to kill while awaiting the SOs visa, I might as well put the to good use.

Any ideas?

 This is something you should really discuss with your SO! This is a decision that affects your lives not ours.

Milo, you can always go back to Monroe and do something nice for the Custer Statue. :P

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Dont worry, he knows! Im just trying to see if there are career paths I havent even thought of...you know, sort of like when you're at a dinner party and you meet someone and they have this crazy job you've never even thought existed???

The teacher thing I've debated on and off - even spent a semester as a sub in the local high school system...I think school librarian would be more my speed and my alma mater has a grad program in it. But I'm only about 65% convinced on going down that route.
