Hello everyone,

we got married last Saturday and I am preparing the forms for AOS now.

I got confused with the following:

Part 3 - B: List your present husband...

My husband was born in Jamaica and became an US Citizen through naturalization when he was 2 years old.

In form I-485 they ask for the country of birth as well as the Alien Number.

What do I have to fill in here?

Do I state "none" or do I have to fill in his Naturalization Number? (they asked for that in the Affidavit form when we filded for K1)

Thank you everyone for the answer.

He likely had a A# before he naturalized. However they are not the same, the naturalization number is different than the Alien Registration number.... If you don't know one and can't find it the better response would be "unknown" rather than something else.

I also became a US citizen through naturalization and didn't put my A# on the I-130 when I sent it for my husband's CR1 visa. The USCIS didn't gave me any problem for that.

Diana, what did you put in there instead?
