I thought they were sending the card? Is this in addition to the card? I was really hoping we would get the EAD card by today, so we could to the SSN office. I hope we do not have to wait thirty days to get the card.

My card was in a mailbox 1 day after I got this email, I'm pretty sure you'll get your card very soon! And it comes in one envelope with the approval notice, this envelope is pretty plain, so make sure you check your mail carefully!

patriciafoz, congratulations on your transfer! :)

patriciafoz, congratulations on your transfer! :)

Thanks, ellla. All the best with your process too.

I have a question: I just received my Advance Parole papers. Now, is the Parole Stamp box next to my photograph SUPPOSE to have a stamp on it already from the National Benefits Center?

I'm so ready to book a flight to visit Australia - but I think I'll wait for some GC developments since this AP kinda makes me nervous...I plan to be back by late November. I'm so excited about the prospect of going back home for a visit.

Going to research AP conditions...

I got my interview letter today! My hubby called me to tell me that I have a mail form USCIS when I was coming back home from work, I asked him to open and there it was! The date is November 10th, at 10:59 (strange hour;)) in Chicago! Now it's time to get ready and collect all the stuff, there is a long list.

You guys still waiting for you letter - it's coming!

:)

The EAD card has her maiden name. I read on the UCIS website that it would cost $280 to change the name. Is that correct?

Don't worry about it, just be sure her GC has her married name.
