i applied jan 07 and interview on july 07 and till now waiting and no action last time my aos touched was sep.2007.......whats going on???

It seems like you got stuck with FBI namecheck... Have you tried calling them for follow-ups? If not, maybe you should... Good luck!

04/21/2011 - Early Biometrics (was scheduled on May 4, 2011)

05/09/2011 - Case Status Notification - In line for interview and testing

05/10/2011 - Case Status Notification - Interview scheduled

05/14/2011 - Interview Appointment Letter in the mail

06/21/2011 - Interview Appointment Date

06/29/2011 - Case Status Notification - Placed in the oath scheduling que

08/16/2011 - Case Status Notification - Oath ceremony scheduled

10/17/2011 - Certificate of Naturalization in the mail -- OFFICIALLY DONE!

hi sasa by the way i'm egyptain like you lol and i been married for almost 6 years now and i have been in this damn processing since march 2 2005 i just got a letter last week for redoing my fingerprint to make this story short you have not been in this damn situation for too long yet,i hope you hear somthing good very soon ,mohamed

I applied December 2006 and got approved TODAY!! In my timeline you can see there were no touches and nothing for over 10 months and a confusion on where my application actually was.

I had to involve our Congressman, got my case reviewed and finally card production is ordered.

I was not stuck in FBI namecheck, no RFEs, everything was fine and dandy, they just didn't do anything.

I really recommend to start calling and using the resources we have, because we SHOULDN'T have to wait for such long times. I undersand things take time, specially if a case is complicated, but sometimes I really don't know what thy are doing...

Good luck to everyone who has been waiting for a long time now, don't give up, be patient but proactive as well!!!
