Before sending my packet.. I went through it like 15 times before sealing it? I even had checklist... now does that sound crazy or what... I was pretty sure I got every thing needed. But one thing I was worried about. I sent the originals of our birth certificates. it was quite original but had some smudged info from when it was printed and stamped.

When I finally sealed it and walked inside the post office.. I worried that if there was one thing that could possible delay things.. it would be that birth certificate. I was told on the phone that I was looking at 4-5 months before I would hear any word. I mailed late Nov and 3 months later.. I received the NOA2.

I assume that the info on the certificate was clear enough for them to no question it.

Hoping that the NVC has the papers and will send it on to Manila soon.

My 6 year old son is waiting anxiously to meet Zandy... and Oh.. I very much miss her hugs and kisses. My gosh.. I'm so tired of Yahoo IM hehehehehehe

Has anyone had any issues with smudged info birth certificate or passport?

Do you have any copies of them hopefully?

If not that is alright, I know you can get another copy of the birth certificate if you need it but that might take some time. I am not sure what steps you need to take in order to get that, but I imagine it does take time and you may want to jump on top of that as soon as possible.

Sorry I don't have as much helpful information as you may need.

I need help badly and fast. I sent in I129f and everything is process through nvc and now she reiceve your packet from us embassy in Vietnam. I was pulling out all the paperwork and was going through it . I notice on Question 18 on the I129 f form. I had a facility that helps people fill out the INS forms and I did not review it when they handed me the the last page to sign if everything was correct figuring I gave them all the information. Well, I Question 18 ask how we met: On the form it it states we were introduce by friend will my fiancee was here in CA studying as a foreign exchange student: which is wrong. It was to state that we were introduce by a family friend who was visiting form out of state and that we have been in contact since Jan 2006. She has turn in the require paperwork so she get a interview date. So, we are waiting for interview date for her interview n in Vietnam. Is their any way we can correct it because i know that it will get reject once they research it and find out it is not factual and I will not be able to get her a visa to come here to USA. It is a honest mistake on my part not to go through it carefully, I am really scared because all the weddings plan are in process to be set. I neeeeeeed hellp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone out there who knows the answer that can really help me response back ASAP
