Hi guys!

My finacee and I are in the process of for a K1 Visa aplication.

Would love some help with the following questions.

1) How long have people experienced wait time/process times?

How long was it between the Form 1-129F being submitted and then the financee's local consulate contacting him/her to arrange the interview.

2) What type of documentations are a MUST bring to the interview

3) We have looked at some of the sample interview questions, and they appear to be pretty general. Are there any that people think are some extra's that need to be considered?

4) Does the interview process 'prove the realationship' (the section of criteria)?

5) My fiancee hsa lived abroad. A section of the criteria as listed on the Department of State website said that a police certificate was needed for all places that she has lived in since she was 16years of age. Does this included places that she has lived in for only 5 months whilst traveling? What exactly is required?

6)we have heard that the vaccinactions components are only required in the Adjustment of status form, and not for the filing of the form 1-129F? Is this correct?

Thanks so much for any help you can swing this way!!

thanks!

:)

There is people more and less lucky. The luckiest can get approoved real quick, but get ready to wait at least 6 months till the NOA2.

2) What type of documentations are a MUST bring to the interview

every consulate is a bit different, but usually u need this

--A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one).

--Send an original letter affirming your desire to marry your fiance(e) and your continued support of the K-1 Visa.

--I-134 Affidavit of Support form. Ensure it is notarized (by a US Notary Public), with all required supporting evidence.

--two to three of your most recent pay stubs and a signed letter from your employer listing you job title, start date, your salary, and the status (full-time) of your position.

--A copy of the NOA2 that you received in the mail

--Proof of your ongoing relationship. This needs to be taken to the interview! Include photos, travel documents, emails, etc from between the time you filed and present (NOA1 date-now).

include photocopy for everything.

plus,if any of you have been married, you'll need a proof of a prior marriage termination

there are some more papers needed for beneficiary's children if she's got any...

--wherever she lived more than 6 months she needs a police certificate

--vaccinations are not required, but, yes, she'll need those for AOS

welcome.and good luck
