Hi my wife's petition was approved and sent to NVC Feb. 14th or was at least approved on feb 14th. Do I need to get the case number before they send it to me only to use James shortcuts? What is the best way to get it from, e-mail? I could only find the long distance number, no 800 number to NVC. I know many people call many times and weeks to wait to get it from the phone number. So if you e-mail them with the USCIS number they will e-mail you the NVC case number as soon as they have it? thanks for any help:-)

no there is no 800 number only the (603)334-0700 number this is the only line if you call this number and when it ask if you know your uscis or nvc number punch in you uscis number and it will give you your nvc number

buy a calling card or use cell phone to call it is the only way to get right away or it takes time to get e-mail back

2 weeks some times good luck

hi everyone!

I am a newbee, although i have been following this thread for quite some time now.

My husband and I are august filer..finally got our NOA2 smile.gif

I wanted to clarify one thing abt the ds3032:

i want to appoint my husband(my petitioner) as the agent in the ds3032 form, but he will be moving to another state in abt 4 months...will a change of address create any delays/confusions/RFEs in the future? also, if an address change poses no hurdles, how can i inform the NVC of the change in address, when my hubby moves?

Thanks

Your hubby can inform NVC by email or phone call the change of address. Have hubby fill out USPS change of address so that his mails get forwarded to his new address.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

It should not. But no one can guarantee it 100%. You need to stay in touch with NVC every day regarding change of address so that they don't send mail to the previous address.
