Limbaugh on Obama's Middle Name

Anyways, most of the people who support him think the drug laws are out of whack anyway and probably have also experimented with drugs at some point.

Just to let you know, I used to smoke pot a lot in my younger days and I was around the drug culture for most of my adult life. If you did it you also sold it. I knew a lot of people at uni that did soft drugs. To my knowledge none of those people sold.

The criticism of Rush on that subject come from comments he made about drug users other than the crack heads needing to be sent up the river too that all of a sudden became irrelevant when it was him that should have gone up the river by his own standards. That makes him a hypocrite. Plain and simple. He had to go into rehab which indicated that he had a serious addiction issue to deal with.

And just because you and your buddies used and dealt does not mean that everyone did. There's such a thing as the presumption of innocence. Obama has not been found guilty of either of the offenses you accuse him of. Plain and simple also.

Rush is a hypocrite for going on an outrage trip about the evils of drug abuse, all the while abusing drugs himself (recently). He was charged with prescription fraud.

Obama freely admits in a biography that he smoked marijuana in college (a long time ago) - with no criminal charges.

Most people who use cocaine (demographic: upper middle class young white people) are not dealers, nor addicted. It's practically the Ivy League party drug. It's not good for you, but most users are recreational users, not addicted, and not ruining their lives. (Doesn't make a great anti-drug campaign, tho.)

People pick on Rush because he went on and on for years on how anyone caught using drugs illegally should be punished horribly while he was abusing painkillers himself. It's not drug use that bothers people about him, but his hypocrisy.
