i got married on nov 2006 and applied for i485 jan 2007 and interviewed july 2007 and been approved but fbi name check till now still waiting:(

share experience

There has been talks about actually issuing the greencards whose FBI checks have taken more than 6 months.

If the new immigration change kicks in, you might be getting your greencard very soon. It will be subject to cancelation and deportation of the foreign spouse if the FBI finds in the future that he/she is found to be a thread to this country though.

01/24/13 Notice of Action

01/25/13 Check cashed

01/28/13 NOA received by mail and biometrics letter mailed as per uscis.gov

02/14/13 Biometrics appointment

03/18/13 In-line for inteview
