Just checked the staus online and it says approved:)

We havent got NOA2 yet but coz it was approved only yesterday ,i guess we will get it soon..

Would like to thank all of you for the tremendous support that you provided. It was impossible without u...

Need few suggestions:

Actually we never thought it would be so quick ,so my company planned to send me to canada for few months and i said yes..I cant refuse them now.

1.I think it wills till take around 2 months before the interview so i have time.If it was approved on 26th Feb,before what time do i have to attend the interview, like ffor how long is this NOA2 valid

2.Can i attend interview in canada?Do i have to be present in india for packet 3 and 4 or can it be managed over post?

Please advise

Thanks

way to go! and if you think that you sent it just before Thanksgiving and with all the national holidays it would have been a week or two quicker. Late November filiers getting excited. GO VCS!

The NOA2 is valid for I think 4 months. Interviews are happening like 1.5 months from approval depending on the NVC and embassy processing. Check out the India embassy page for information on timelines. You could definately delay the interview until you get back but I would want to get this journey over with as soon as possible. Don't know about the packets. Does anyone know when they are sent do you have to sign for them or are they just left like regular mail? Cause if it is like regular mail you could have them then mailed to you in Canada and send them back no prob.

Emmett Fitz-Hume: I'm sorry I'm late, I had to attend the reading of a will. I had to stay till the very end, and I found out I received nothing... broke my arm.

What country are you from ???

And you say you'd like to have interview in Canada

do you have your canadian citizenship ??

Normally, youll have your interview in your country as you stated on your 129f application... So if you are either a citizen or a "legal immigrant " in Canada....then you'll have your interview there.. If not...youll have it in India.

Congrats on your approval and good luck for the rest of the journey (F)
