Outsourcing India

I'm researching ABC News Reports for one of my papers in a Senior Level Media class and I found this impressively intelligent and articulate news report on outsourcing India. It's one of the better news reports I've viewed today by ABC.

The last five years I've lived in Boise I've noticed the East-Indian population rising which is not surprising because we have companies like Hewlett Packard, Micron, and the corporate headquarters for Albertson's. Upon meeting this growing population of educated individuals coming to the US from India I've learned they are most often tri-lingual, open minded, peaceful, incredibly brilliant, creative, dedicated, and highly motivated. When I compare this to my American counterparts I was disappointed that some or most of these qualities were lacking. I dismissed this as I am meeting the cream of the crop from India who are able to come here.

However, having access to the internet and chatting with individuals around the world as well as watching these news reports I am learning the people of India are truly an impressive and huge population to keep us on our toes. They can take our college mathematic text books from the 1970's and pay little to nothing for them and get the same education out of it that college student today in the US are paying for brand new mathematic text books that cost $100+.

These are just some of the things I've learned about them and I hope that you enjoy this enlightening ABC News Report.
