I was disappointed by 300.

awww.

how about the one "tonight we dine in san diego!" movie :P

Haven't seen it yet. I wanted to like 300, but there came a point about halfway through where C. looked over at me and asked if it could possibly get any gayer and it was just hard to get into the action after that because I was laughing too hard. "Fine thrust!" O you bet your sweet butt, Leonidas.

Perhaps that's why Gerard Butler had to bellow every line....

As if shouting would somehow reassert his masculinity.

I does seem like the most "manly" movies are always the most homoerotic. Why do the best soldiers always lose their shirts.

I saw X-Men The Last Stand with one of my gay friends. He was appalled at the end when Wolverine was being torn apart, but his pants remained intact. Now I can't watch that scene without laughing. Those were some serious britches.

Wow. This was the first Halloween movie that I felt was worth seeing. The other were just cheesy slashers. This one actually made Mike Myers into a sadistic, evil sumbitch where the others failed.

yes but im speaking of the original Halloween 1 as being better, not the other dorky ones that followed it.

The reason why it sucked to me was the acting, where the f did they find the actors

One movie I watched a couple months ago that I thought "what a waste of time" at the end of was a bollywood movie. It's called "Om Shanti Om". First of all, it had no subtitles but I watched with Sujeet anyway even though I couldn't understand it, just could watch it and ask every 5 mins "what did he say??", "what was that all about?". That happened with a couple other bollywood movies too recently...only a bollywood movie can start out a "comedy"(but it's not even funny) and end as a horrible tragedy. You wonder if it's still the same movie you are watching.

Didn't they also do a Halloween movie set in space? I seem to remember seeing a trailer for something like that...?

The actors were basically from Rob Zombie's core group. Most of them were in both House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects. His mom is actually Rob Zombie's wife. The step-dad played Sherrif Wydell in The Devil's Rejects. Tyler Mane (grown-up Mike) played Sabertooth in X-Men.
