I am personally pretty unimpressed with Hill's time in the Senate. She used all her time to cozy up to Republicans, even joining a weekly (daily?) prayer group with fundies. Her bills have been puffy.

The question is, how will Obama's experience contrast with McCain's 25+ years? Where McCain has often taken a stand unpopular with his own party? When Obama was voting "not present" in the Illinois legislature. These are questions Obama supporters need to worry about, if they are serious about taking the White House, not constantly comparing him with Hillary.

Ya, just watch this unfold. I'm looking forward to it. Hillary could have beat McCain, but Obama will crash and burn when the going gets rough.

Just by looking at what has happened since I would say that Hillary stood by Bill because she needed him for her own political asperations. What Bill did was bordeline criminal. If he was the CEO of a major company he would have been removed with the full blessings of the feminists. For her to stand there and take that just shows me that she puts power above all else. I can't know what was in her mind so this is only my conjecture. And remember it wasn't only Monica. There was Paula Jones and Gennifer Flowers and maybe others. There were even accusations of rape.
