So your saying that ppl going thru AP have a more meaningful relationship than ppl who didnt have to go thru AP?

Your saying that bc ppl who didnt have to go thru AP are less strong and love any less?

wow what a misconception.

Never, I am in no way saying they mean more THAN anyone, that is your misinterpretation. But a person who has waited 3 months versus one who has waited three years definately learns the meaning of being apart and the meaning of themselves and their relationship through the test of time. It is like a student who skims through a passage of Nietzsche, and another who had devoted months to the same passage, not that the student who skimed it could not have gotten the core idea just as the student who devoted months to it, but that the meaning is understood more. No arguing about that. You will only understand if your already long awaited loved one is pushed further by 6months to a year.

Ok...I give up, what's an "AP relationship"?

Wonderful that you do not know what it is....and believe you do not WANT to know what it is, basically one that has gone through years of waiting until interview AND months after inteview for additional administrative processing (AP) AND because of that, have had to endure multile interviews, expiration of medicals, police reports, etc.

Nothing funny at all about the excruciating wait time.

Go through it, you won't be laughing.

Hmm, I think you're saying the same thing I was.

I actually read the topic of this thread again after posting and realize what got everyone jazzed up initially. "our relationsnips mean more: AP survivors" taken by most to mean that AP survivors' relationships are more meaningful than those not put through AP.

However, I took it to mean that after going through AP they felt their relationship meant more to themselves than it had before the AP. (not a comparison to anybody else at all)

I never said that others don't find their own relationships meaningful too. Only that this poster was having a difficult time and felt their relationship had grown stronger for surviving AP.

Yes, and only those who go through the waits, delays and expirations will know what I mean. No way am I saying they mean more THAN anything else, but what time does is teaches more meaning, and that can never be denied.

I equate it to having one's skin being pulled off in little sections at a time.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
