any October or November AOS still unable to retrieve?

Any October or November AOS filers who received all receipts still unable to retrieve any status of I485 on line? When I enter my wife and daughters receipt #'s it says unable to retrieve, or incorrect etc. I called the 800 # and they said it probably being processed, and just behind in putting status on line. If that's the case, why are even later filers able to check on line right after biometrics etc (theirs was in December). ? It sure is frustrating not to be able to know where we are in the system. We could retreive the AP and the EAD when the were ready, but not before.

We're a July filer and still can't retrieve, don't seem to have a problem receiving mail though. I've tried calling several times, they said they would fix it but never did.

I'm in the exact same case. Filed in July, the I-485 is still not online and I doubt it'll ever be even if I check from time to time.

jordoc, don't worry about it. Why some people who filed after you have it online and not you? It can be simply that the agent working on your case choose not to put updates online, and did not enter it on the web system.

The good side? Because yes there is one: when and if you call USCIS and talk to someone, since the misinformation people who answer can only read the same online information as everyone else, you get to talk to an Immigration Officer who can tell you a lot more details about your case, and more accurate updates.
