My interview experience

We woke up around 3AM and got ready. We left around 5AM. I hadn’t been able to pull money from my card yet and only had around P500. We stopped at an ATM and it was out of service. It was almost 6AM and I decided there wasn’t enough time to get any more money. My driver was very kind and let me owe him the money for driving us from Paranaque City.

My Papa went with us and was going to wait outside to hold the cell phone. I gave him some money so he could eat leaving us with enough to pay Delbros.

Around 7AN they called 7:30 appointments first the traveler’s visas then the K1 and K3. Once inside we followed the blue line to a room with around 200 seats. TIP!!!! SIT IN THE BACK CLOSEST TO THE DOOR RIGHT BY THE BATHROOM.. The guard picked rows to go get numbers and he started from the back. We were 7061 and Dennis and Antonette were sitting in the middles they were 7031 and they were done a lot quicker then us.

Soon after we had our number they called Maricar up for finger scanning over the loud speaker.

I didn’t have a watch so I’m not sure time except for the lunch break. Hehe (bring a watch) I think around 10 we were called up for prescreening at window 17

Maricar was asked when and what exact site we met on and for all of our paperwork

For the 134A they only wanted my TAX RETURN not W2 for 2006. She seemed happy I had filled out a new one. I had submitted one with my I129F in June.. And seemed happy I had 8 years of W2’s

She asked how many times I was devorced and about my trips to the Philippines in the past.

I think all they really cared about was the paperwork.

Out of my backpack full of proof she only picked a few things.

Very easy and I do think it goes smother when the patitioner is present.

It seemed to work fine without on many others. Just less questions.

We waited and watched people around us getting approved and the room was quickly emptying. I was so happy to see a smile on everyone’s face while leaving. I was especially happy for Dennis and Antonette.

On the hour lunch break I was able to pull some money from BPI and get something to eat. Maricar was feeling pretty weak and honestly so was I. In a way I was thankful we were behind everyone else so we had a chance to eat something and regain our happiness for the interview.

Once back inside about 45 minutes after everything started back up our number was called to the interview room 30. While waiting in the chairs beside the door I heard him interviewing A girl that was alone. He really asked her a lot of questions about there meeting and a lot about her SO’s job. I was worried for her..

Now our turn. I told everyone outside while waiting to smile so we were smiling and greeted with a good afternoon. We sat and were sworn in and the only thing he asked Maricar was where and when we met. The rest was him talking to me. Mainly about my flight and jet lag. He then said we were done and I asked him if we were approved and he said “not yet” I think he didn’t want to mention the Delbros document varification.. So I asked him if that was what he was talking about and he seemed surprised I new and said “Yes” Still not saying if we passed or not.

We waited probably 20 minutes and were called to window 38. After waiting there in a line were told window 37 and waited there in a line. Then the lady at window 38 said she would help us. No one wanted to talk about the 3 week wait for debris so I brought it up to her with a copy of our receipt and a letter requesting special handling of our visa. After waiting 20 more minutes the lady at window 38 called us back and said the debris was done and we were approved for a visa pickup. Hehehe this was the first word anyone said we were approver HURAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were given a little red card to show when we come back.

Thanks to God this is all over. I expect to be able to pick up the visa today…

Note. Bring your Delbros receipt with a copy of it. You will be asked..

It would have been much harder without this site. Thankyou VJ (F)
