Removing Conditions

Hi fellow Vjers

I have been reading this forum for a while, and getting all my ducks in a row. Now I have a few questions for you guys.

With regards to pictures etc. Did you make a note next to each item/picture saying what they were.

Like pics with friends, mail who it was from?

I am also going to include our Christmas letter that I send out do you think that is a good idea?

And when you sent payment, did you send a personal check or bank check?

I would at least date the pictures. I am a scrapbooker so what I did was scrap the pages and then color copy them. My journalizing has names, dates, and places noted. I figure you can never give too much information.

I wouldn't worry about the mail. The postmark and your address on it should be enough.

I think the Christmas letter is a nice idea.

I haven't removed conditions. Preparing now to mail in August. But, I would like to send a check with it. I have used personal check on everything so far.

On the back of each photo I put a brief description of who, where and when... As for the check we sent a personal check...

I should note, I never sent individual pictures in with previous submissions. I color copied 4 on each sheet of paper.

You just gave me an idea. I've always sent in individual photos, and worried that they would be seperated. Perhaps color copying several on one sheet would be better.

I put all my photos in a ziplock bag and holepunched it and added it to the packet that was held together with a Acco fastener at the top... that way they were all together...

Thats what I have done, put a few on a page, so I didnt want them to look at the pics and not know what was going on in them. When we had our interview and I got PR, at least we were able to talk about the pics etc.

Ok peoples I am back. I have been working on getting my goodies together all day.

I wanted to ask you how many pics is overkill. I mean we have two years of pictures, and stuff we have done. How many is TOO many.

We just printed on the back what the picture was about. I also had five friends write affidavits for us. I paid using our personal check.
