Hi!

My biometric's appointment at Phoenix, AZ office was VERY quick and without any troubles.

I have received RFE for I-485, because we haven't enclosed copy of IRS documents ( I-864). We thought that is not necessary....

My I-485 is still not visible online, but I-765 was touched at the same the as my biometrics!

Good luck to FEB-08 filers!

Congrats well done wow 8 years , now I am worried ;)

My family moved to the US when I was 14 years old and I was under my dads work visa. The company he worked for applied for our GC but he got layed off a couple months before we were going to go to the doctor and to the border. Then he had another job and I was under that work visa. I graduate High School and went on to college where I switched from his visa to an F-1 student visa. I married my husband about 3 years ago and we never had the money until now to afford the GC application. So basically I have been in this country and not allowed to work for 8 years. On a student visa you can work on campus only, so I have a SSN because of that but there are never any jobs on campus and they don't want to hire anyone that has had no work experience. My student visa expires in December when I graduate! But now I'll have my GC, but for now I have my EAD so I can work! Yay!!

I went to have my biometrics done in Jax yesterday. My husband and the dog came with me. We left at sunrise to get there at 12:45. All together it took 20 minutes for the biometrics. We got in the car again, and got back at sunset....

Sooooo, driving 5 hours one way to do something that takes 20 minutes... That's just stupid :bonk::protest::ranting:

Ha, in the Netherlands you'd be in a different country if you drove 5 hours (it could get you in France under the right conditions), now you don't even leave the State. Good to have gotten it over with though. And congrats on the transfer!

Today, I got an e-mail form CRIS saying that right after they received my REF, our case processing has been resumed. That is for I - 485. And there was some update for I - 765 on March, 17th.

I am so happy I can see my cases online. And now it feels like they are doing something, and I can sort of observe.

Good luck to you all!!
