im already working on k-3 and now i want to start a CR-1

My husband has already recieved the NOA1 for both i-13O and i-129F....... and since theres so much confusion concerning the 129f i want to start CR-1 just incase....do i use the same i-13O or do i start a new one? if i go with the i-13O i already have...what do i have to add to it?

USCIS are making this decision for you and you have no need to submit more paperwork.

1) If they approve both and hold your I130 = K3

2) If they cancel your I129F and send on I130 = CR1/IR1

Either way, both scenarios are using your original petitions and, if your husband did not pay a fee for the I129F, it seems that USCIS are leaning towards option 2. However, there is no official statement from USCIS to say they have created this procedure.

I heard that attempting to cancel yout I-129F can only make things worse. They might end up canceling your whole case and then you're back at 0.

This has been stated as a possible side-effect of the petitioner trying to withdraw the I129F themselves (i.e by sending a letter to the USCIS). I think it is much safer to let the petition take it's course and see what USCIS will do with it.
