Feb./March Scheduled Interviews in Jamaica

Wanted to start a thread for Jamaica VJ'ers who are about to be scheduled an interview or who has been scheduled an interview in Jamaica.

My SO talked to the embassy on 1-21-08 and they told her that we would have an interview scheduled by late Feb. or early March. But still no word yet.

Has anyone been scheduled an interview yet for the months of Feb., March, or even April?

I called the embassy on Monday and they told me pretty much the same thing. They are very behind, but all late feb. Early March interviews should be scheduled by next week the LATEST!!!! I am at my wits end at this point!! I just want a date so I can book my fare and GET ON WITH IT!!!!

I hope so my 6 year wedding anniversary is in May, my birthday is in March and my husbad b.day is in April.....they better hurry up cause I have big plans dammit and there messing up everything for me.....hmmmmmmm

Since mi a newbi, mek mi ask dis question.

Why does it take so long for Kingston to schedule interviews once the package or packet has left NVC and has arrived there. Are there some many family based applicants going through Kingston and when the hell are they going to OPEN a consular office Montego Bay (I guess I'm day dreaming). Since dem raise up the cost for most of the applications, have SERVICE been improved there or anywhere else in the immigration process.

Hello all.....

Our case was completed as of 12/13/07 and we still haven't received an interview date as of yet......His police record was clear and as far as I know all is well.......We are keeping our fingers crossed for a March interview date........Hopes got crushed when we didn't make a February date.......I keep praying to the Good Lord that we make a March date........
