Ok i you'll say my question its a bit early as we even dont send th I-129 at this time.

But i need to prepare some stuffs.

For example, with my daughter's father we share time. So Christmas 2008 its his turn to celebrate holidays with our daughter.

So as i checked different timelines, i may hope to be around Christmas or just a little bit before in Chicago with my love. What i have to do to be sure that my daughter may travel back to France for Christmas?

Kisses

Yoko

1 of 2 things,

1) It can take up to 90 days to get AP in order to travel, so if you have your K-1,2 mid summer, you could enter the USA marry, and then file for adjustment and AP, and probably have the AP document in time for the trip.

2) If you get K-1,2 in the fall of this year the K-Visas are valid for 6 months, so could delay using them and travel to the USA after Christmas, or could use the K-1 before Christmas, and daughter remain behind and travel to USA after Christmas.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Yes, in short, any travel plans will need to be adjusted to comply with US immigration laws. Your solution will depend on the date the visa is issued. Of course, you'll need the other parent's written permission for the child to immigrate, in order to obtain a visa for the child.

Yes i know I will have his permission validate by the french court.

You know its not planning something shorter, its just that its his turn, its the schedule and i want to make sure to dont break that schedule. We have a friendly relationship as we are parents before we're Exs. Its friendly because we always respect our parole. So i have to manage the visa process and the parents schedule. Not easy.

What about advance parole its not a good solution? Is it a long process either?

As Dan already wrote, AP can take up to 90 days.
