This morning i received an email from CRIS:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On May 23, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

errr.... my 2-year greencard was issued august 2006..so i should file removal of conditions around may 2008, why am i touched? i checked my uscis portfolio and it is indeed touched today

My I-485 was also touched exactly one year prior to the expiration date of my GC. No idea why.

Frankly, it felt a little creepy thinking they might be "keeping tabs on us" from time to time.
