i got an email that my K-1 petition is approved.

how do i know when it's going to the NVC and when it's leaving the NVC for the Havana, Cuba embassy?

will that information show up on the online search/tracking feature of the USCIS?

Wait 2 weeks or so after NOA2, and then call or email NVC for status.

Provide Petitioner's and Beneficiary's Name and DOB, as well as USCIS case number.

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3177.html

K-Visas pass through NVC quickly so will not be on the automated voice status system, you need to talk to an operator.

Also: avoid calling them every day, just one time a week is fine.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I received a letter last week with my case number saying that in about a week the case was going to be sent to Havana, and three days ago i called the embassy and made an appoinment for next friday (feb. 8th) so my fiance could go pick up package 3. I think you should call the NVC to find out about your case because i received that letter a week after my NOA 2 arrived.

Hi, I reveived my letter from NVC with my case number, what is my next step, what number do I call for the interview? please help

Are you the US citizen or the beneficiary? Your case should have been forwarded to the NVC and then to the foreign embassy. If you're the beneficiary, you're meant to get a checklist of forms and evidence to submit to the embassy. All that has to be processed through before you worry about an interview, as far as I know.

Summer 2001 - met my Scottish boy

December 18th, 2007 - proposal in Madrid's Botanical Gardens with a duck standing behind him going 'food?'

January 18th, 2008 - I-129F sent to VSC

January 31st, 2008 - received NOA1, issued Jan. 24 :)

February 24th, 2008 - NOA2; omgwtfbbqlolz

February 29th, 2008 - NVC letter sent
