Embassy Question

Hi everyone!

Happy Friday! I was just curious to know if anyone has had an interview conducted at an Embassy different from where the beneficiary is a citizen of? Or has any information on this?

My fiance is a Dominican national but living in Jamaica on a work permit and we are hoping that the interview will be in Kingston because he does not get vacation time and it would be a financial burden to go back to the DR.

Thanks in advance.

Your interview can occur in the country of his current legal residence...
Correct, I have seen many Chinese citizens living in Canada interview at the counselate in Canada, as well as many citizens of other countries interview at the US Consulate in Guangzhou China.

If this is your case, you may want to read the interview reviews of the consulate or embassy that you will interview at.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
