My husband had his medical examination done this morning and they sent him to a psychologist. They gave him a sealed envelope to take with him but gave no explanation. Is this normal? I thought that the entire exam was done in the clinic in Ciudad Juarez. What's going on?

Did your husband give any indication to the examiner of ever suffering from depression or any other similar disorder in the past that may have required medication or counselling? If he admitted something along those lines, he would have needed to bring a letter from his doctor or the psychiatrist/psychologist who dealt with him at the time to explain the situation.

I'm a little surprised. When I had my medical exam, it was just a regular exam, then I had to go for blood tests and x-rays but nothing for psychology. Your husband must have said something that made them question his mental state.

I'm not sure what to tell you.
