Hello

I have a weird question. Is it a red flag if you move too much (as the USC) during the process or if so, how much is too much? Reason I am asking is because I have already moved once (before I filed AOS but I did update info with NVC so they are aware of it) but I wanna move again because my current living situation is killing me. And my poor husband is sick of the drama too. I just moved in november so if I move again, what will immigration say? Will they deem me too much of a transcient if I move so they would make me get a cosponsor in the fear that my husbnad would become "homeless"? Also would this slow down the process by them having to update my paperwork in file with my new address? thanks

And another thing, I dont wanna fill out the ds230 form and then have to dhl it back to habibi again. My current address is on that form. But if I move, will I have to redo the form again and dhl it back? I am trrying to prevent problems in my process by moving again but not sure how:( And I dont think I can last til he gets back to move. Tried and it is not working.

Maybe this is not meant for this forum. can one of the mods move this post to another form where it more appropriate so it does not get pushed to the bottom of this ofrum as I need an answer to give notice if I'm moving or not. And the only thing stopping me from doing so is this process....

I don't know if USCIS will deem moving a red flag, but it may take them some time to make the change of addresses. You may find one Service Center having the first address, and yet another having the new one. Truth be told, I don't think their system can handle any moves at all. If you gotta go, then go.

The longer it takes to introduce yourself the less you've actually accomplished

well i just got the returned immigratnt visa fee bill with the wrong amount and we are sending it off again....I guess they will generate both packages at one time since both bills will be paid and then they will have both being worked on at the same time and then clear both at the same time

thanks for your replies.

How long did it take you to get your returned fee ?

I'm contemplating something different now. our moods have changed fast since we're possibly set back another month by them rejecting the fee I sent for the ds230. I am so depressed because when he signed the ds230 a few weeks ago, he felt for once that he was involved and when I told him this is YOUR form AND the final step before his interview, he was so happy. I have never seen him so happy when talking about immigration. but now we are both sad now and we're both sick of everything. (as I know everyone is ) What I'm thinking of now is just sticking it out in my current living situation and when I hear from NVC that his paperwork has been sent to Jerusalem, I want to go over there and come back when he gets his visa and he can come back with me. Unfortunately I'd have to quit my job (unless they let me take a leave of absense). And since we will not have an interview date, I have to estimate spending at least 2 months there by the time he gets the interview and his visa in hand in the mail.

Everything is up in the air at the moment:(

I doubt it matters to USCIS how many times you move, as long as you are residing at the same address as your spouse. The most important thing is that you are living together.
