Diamond Class Action Settlement website

The Consumer Subclass generally includes all persons located in the United States who purchased any gem diamond or jewelry or other product containing gem diamonds for personal use and not for resale. Members of the Consumer Subclass made their purchases from someone other than De Beers or De Beers' Diamond Mining Competitors. For example, Consumers include people in the United States who purchased diamond jewelry from a jewelry retailer to wear or to give as a gift.

The time period for the Consumers Subclass is January 1, 1994, through March 31, 2006.

For those who, like me, bought an engagement/wedding ring within these dates.
