Is this timeline seem strange

Hi mates,

Quick question as I was looking at some timelines and was wondering about this little issue. I am not freaked out by it at all, just wanted to prepare for the time -

So if I look at an 1-130 standalone, IRI-CRI, it shows average processing time now from NOA1 to NOA2 about 123 days. Ok. Then if I go to our region which would be UK, it shows from approval of I-130 to interview about 264 days.... I know its early to even start really thinking about this issue, but math is not a strong suit for me, so can someone clarify on this one for me please. Are we looking at another year per se according the guidelines right now.... if the timeline guides average out without any problems? Or is this a combo of both dates put together, me thinks not, but again I hate mathhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Cheers and thank you as always/ Where is James when I need him lol

Filed: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Country: China
Timeline

I think 4 months from noa1 to noa2 is what I have seen from various people, so that part I hink is accurate.

nvc should take 3 - 6 months depending on how fast and organized you are.

then schedule interview and get visa varies with country, but I think uk is faster than most, so maybe 3 months more.

so 10 - 13 months total if you have no rfe, and send everything in without delays.

thats my guess.

Hi Susie,

Yes, I see the same numbers in the timelines you do, the 264 is from NOA2 to interview, not a combo

Thanks hun, so I guess with that huge backlog and such and waiting to get the NOA1 for over four months, it looks to be great journey. like about 17 months or so, as long as AP does not come into play...Wow, didnt expect that. Ok thanks again/

Cheers

Susie
