Hello VJ Members,

2 Questions:

1) From the time packet 3 is sent to Montreal consulate (say this week), does anyone know how soon (1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks.....) can I write an email to Consulate requesting to know if an interview date has been assigned?

2) In my opinion from the readers at VJ, Montreal consulate sets an interview date 6 to 8 weeks from the day the receive the packet 3. Is my assumption correct?

Thanks.

Peter

recently, montreal has been moving faster than that.. have you looked at the chart I made?

You can probably email them in 3 weeks time to see if you've got anything.

Basically no matter what...you're waiting to hear from them. Sometimes they'll respond to emails and phone calls, sometimes not. They're kind of a pain. Honestly, you're in for a bit of a wait, although it's not as bad as it was last year..ours was roughly 5 1/2 months from Pkg 3 to interview last Oct and it's been improving from what I understand.
