Were not sure what they mean by clearance? Does ayone know what this means? Thanks so much for your response..

Maybe they are talking about Administrative Processing. They are probably doing name/security checks.

Thanks for your reply ZeeNusah. I guess were just not sure, Im wondering why they would tell him to pick up his visa on this past Tuesday if they were needing to do AP? Has anyone else had this happen in the Sub-Saharan forum after being approved for K-3 Visa interview. We have read that they do AP while going thur AOS here in the states or CR-1 abroad?...any information would :help:

AP is a black hole, basically, they tell you one thing but they really have no idea what is going on. There are some who are going through Cairo, Egypt who are told they will get their visa in 3 weeks who wait months. One never knows with these things.

There are actually a few people who are currently in AP after the interview. Go to this thread:

You will see a list that I compiled for people's progress through out the process. You can take a look and see who else is on AP.

Thanks so much for the reply again ZeeNusah, We are just gonna see what happens in the next few days, hopefully all will go well. With the gambian embassy asking him to call often were hoping it wont be long. I noticed that The Big O took close to 2 weeks before they recieved there visa in hand.

p.s thanks for adding us to the waiting on visa thread
