Well you know, the Americans must have learnt English somewhere :) I blame it on the Brits teaching them British words first :)

Julez, are you able to check your case status online? Mine still aren't showing and I hate not being able to obsessively check it 20-30 times a day!

congratulations, even though im just using context clues here to gather that this is a good thing...do all cases get transferred from the lockbox to one of the service centers? does this mean there is movement (the first step towards being approved?), and that is why you are excited?

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

A transfer to CSC is a good thing as it typically means that you are on the fast track to AOS - you will not be called in for an interview! So, it means the green card will be here faster! :D

I believe what it means is that they won't have to do another interview b/c it got transferred across the country. I think normally hers would have gone to VSC. Am I right on that? Either way, congrats Julez. :D

Congrats Julez :D

Do you know if you get the green card before your second anniversary you have to remove conditions.... Do you still have to do that even if you get the green card after the two years? And do people often get their green card before the 2 year mark? Only cos I just found out that it's another $500 to do that

You know... I think now is the time for me to start visiting the AOS forums. I have stayed away till now as I didn't want to confuse myself :lol: But I keep getting little surprises, so I really think I should begin preparing.

The first 2 year GC is a conditional one and everyone who has that has to remove the conditions. I don´t think it has anything to do when you get it or anything about your anniversary. You should remove the conditions in the 90 day window prior to the 2nd anniversary of the issuance of the greencard, that is before it expires :)

Congratulations to the transfer Julez :) That´s great :D

As to when people view their stuff online it varies so much. Our EAD and AOS were online the day we did the biometrics but AP is still not online and therefore I don´t think it ever will :P Maybe it goes online when they touch it :)
