Hi.....is there any way to know what your local office is? We live 2 hours away from Cleveland, OH but we are closer to Pittsburgh, PA (only 1 and a half driving time). When I filed the EAD they made me go to Pittburgh for the biometrics appointment, at the Application Support Center (ASC). So is it possible that our local office is Pittsburgh and not Cleveland? Being two different states (my husband resides in ohio and not in Pennsylvania) it seems strange it would be Pittsburgh!

Thanks in advance!!!

Maria

If you go to the INFOPASS scheduler, on the USCIS.gov website, you can put in your zip code and it should tell you. I would imagine it is Pittsburgh. We are in West Virginia and our district office is considered Pittsburgh - well, it is for myself and my daughter. However, because we originally filed for my son in Washington DC (prior to moving house), and they won't release the file to Pittsburgh, his office is still DC.

Our journey started in 2001 and it's still not over. It's been a rollercoaster ride all the way! Let me off - I wanna be sick!

Please see http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/fieldoffices...rgh/aboutus.htm

Application Support Centers have different service areas than the district/sub offices.

From what I can tell from the Pittsburgh page, that would not be the office which would process your application. I was also sent to Pittsburgh for my biometrics, but the office that process my green card was Philly

I did like Girona told me and I faked a infopass :) I put my zip code and they gave me Cleveland office:

Location:

Cleveland District Office

1240 EAST NINTH STREET

ROOM 501

Cleveland, OH 44199

So I guesss this is it, my local office should be Cleveland then (thank God!!!!). Does the AOS have to be processed in the State of spouse's residency or it can be another State too?
