hello everyone There!

I have questions here w/ regards to the I-751 application.Do I need to send a copy of our marriage certificate and affidavit of support of my grandmother as evidence?

she is one of the witness in our wedding ceremony.

Any reply is highly appreciated!

Timeline

I don't think a copy of your marriage certificate is required. I filed at the end of November and didn't include a copy of our marriage certificate. The only copy of any visa related "paperwork" that is required is a copy of your Permanent Resident Card. Any supporting evidence being sent with the I-751 is to establish that you have continued with the bona fide relationship that was established at the end of the AOS processing. I don't believe that they are interested in any evidence originating prior to the granting of your PR status.

Timeline Summary

11/30/2007 - I-751 Mailed to Nebraska

12/28/2007 - NOA Received (application has been forwarded to California)

01/09/2008 - Biometrics taken in St. Louis

03/27/2008 - I-751 Approved, 10 Yr Greencard in the mail !!

12/20/2016 - N-400 mailed to Phoenix lockbox

01/17/2017 - NOA Received

01/25/2017 - Attended biometrics in St. Louis

09/29/2017 - Received I-797C notice dated 09/27/17.  Interview Scheduled for November 6th @ 8am

11/06/2017 - N400 interview in St. Louis.  Approved !!:jest:

02/05/2018 - Notice of Oath Ceremony date received.  March 1st, 2018 @ 8.30am

I sent a copy of the marriage certificate (not a certified copy though). we didnt send the affadavit of support because we didnt want to bother our friends, and we didnt think family would be worthwhile bc they're related to us and have a vested interest in the result...

in my opinion, no need to worry, worst case, they'll send an RFE or they'll call us for an interview....

We didn't send a copy of our marriage certificate either.

08/17/08: Mailed N400 to TSC

08/19/08: USPS attempted delivery

08/20/08: TSC received N400

08/21/08: TSC cashed check

09/02/08: Received NOA...........Priority date: 08/20/08

..............................................Notice date : 08/22/08

09/02/08: Received Biometrics Notification

09/18/08: Biometrics completed - Charlotte DO

10/24/08: Received Interview Letter

12/08/08: Interview @ 1:00pm. APPROVED!

01/05/09: Oath Ceremony 10:00AM. Now officially a USC!!!
