I was with my Wife in Colombia over the holidays and when I returned we had been approved by the California Service Center on 12/21. The letter states, "The above petition has been approved. We have sent the original visa petition to the Department of State National Visa Center (NVC) ....."

Do they send me a Case Number or a way to track the progress at this point?

Thanks for the responses I will call first thing tomorrow. We were married in July and are anxious to be together. We are hoping we can get through the interview process in April or May and be together this summer here in the United States.

I hope everyone will have the same luck and that the system gets quicker for those of us wanting to be with our loved ones.
