.............

Someone asked me in a PM what my favorite metal albums were. I started listing some of my favorites, and since I'm bored, I figured I might ping the "Off Topic" area and see if there was any other metalheads out there on VisaJourney. If so, let me know you're here, and post some of your favorite artists/songs/albums (I figure if you're browsing "Off Topic," you're looking for something to do anyway.

Anyway, here's my "top 30" for anyone bored enough to glance:

  2. Arch Enemy : Anthems of Rebellion
  3. Avenger of Blood : Complete Annihilation

No Slipknot? Nine Inch Nails? Tool?

 he said metal steven.

No PANTERA? Down? Seputura? Ministry? Testament?

Ministry? Testament? I must compliment your taste! Now that you've spurred my memory, they'd have to be in the top 32...

And Blind Guardian's "A Night at the Opera" is on the list. No clue where "Otherland" came from. Must have been a copy/paste goof

This is basically what I have off the top of my head. Some of your choices I also like, so kept them. Tomorrow will probably be more and I have a feeling that my husband may not be able to help himself and will probably add a list of his own later also.

Adorned Brood : Erdenkraft

Amon Amarth : Versus the World

Arch Enemy : Anthems of Rebellion

Bathory : Blood on Ice

Blind Guardian : Nightfall In Middle-Earth

Borknagar: Quintessence

Brujeria : Brujerizmo

Einherjer : Norwegian Native Art

Eisregen : Hexenhaus

Eisregen : Krebskolonie

Hatebreed : Perseverance

Knorkator : Das nächste Album aller Zeiten

Knorkator : Ich Hasse Musik

Menhir : Buchonia

Menhir : Hildesbrandslied

Menhir : Ziuwari

Nile : In Their Darkened Shrines

Obtest : Auka Seniems Dievams

Skyforger : Kauja pie Saules

Skyforger : Perkonkalve

Theater of Tragedy : Aegis

Theater of Tragedy : Velvet Darkness They Fear

Trollheim's Grott: Bizarre Troll Technology

Type O Negative : October Rust

We have seen a lot of those bands live. The last concert we went to was in November, to see GWAR. Now that was a lot of fun. My husband has a pic of himself the day after somewhere. Have to find it.

My buddies and I went to eat out at a Perkin's Restaurant after the concert (we moshed up a hunger).. All the waitresses were coming over and asking, "I gotta ask... what the hell?"

that's pop. ;)

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Haha! We (me, husband, my brother, brother's friend, his friend's questionable girlfriend) went to White Castle afterwards at like 3am. I guess after working the graveyard shift at a White Castle for awhile nothing surprises you. :P
