I hope your 'baby' develops a better resolve to carry her the rest of your journey. Some VJ members waited months just for the NOA1; if she is losing hope after less than three weeks of waiting there are going to be sorry times ahead for her. With the system working at the rate that it is, I am guessing there is at least another 8 months of waiting to have a visa in hand.

There is a long road ahead of you. Maybe she needs to read VJ to get a better idea what to expect for the process.

This is a long process full of ups and downs, it's an emotional ride.

I would direct your fiance to VJ so she can surround herself with people who are going through this journey too.

It has been a huge help to me.

the wait between NOA1 and NOA2 will be a long stretch. You better be prepared for a lot of "lost hope" experiences lol

Like previous posts said, you better prepare your fiancee for the NOA2 wait. As you can see from all the timelines the wait for NOA1 is much much shorter than for NOA2.

Talk you her and explain the process to her, including worst scenario, whereas it has taken couples around 8 month to get NOA2.
