I received my NAO1 on Dec 17, 2007. I plan to visit my fiance' from April 2008 to July 2008 and return with her to the US after she receives her visa. This means that I will be in Ukraine when the NAO2 is issued. As I understand it she will need a hard copy of the NAO2 for her interview at the embassy. Does anyone have any ideas about how I can get a hard copy of the NAO2 when I will aleady be in Ukraine when it is issued? Thanks.

How in the world did you file in December and receive NOA1 in less than 2 weeks ? same service center (nebraska) and my wife lives in same country (Ukraine) we have heard jack S^&t. and we filed in November

I found a thread that indicates that the NAO2 is not neessary at the interview.

Kyiv doesn't require the NOA2 copy. Go to the Embassy website and download the instructions, this will give you a listing of everything they require.

You may not need the NOA2 for the visa interview, but you will need it for the AOS process once you are back in the US and married. So make sure you get that NOA2! It costs a ton of money to order a replacement copy!

As far as I am aware you don't need to bring the NOA2 hard copy to interview but this might vary by consulate...>?
