Hi everyone!!

I know this doesn't necessarily mean that our journey is close to being over, but I am so excited I just had to share! We mailed our packet 3 to the Cairo embassy Dec 11th and even with Eid Ashraf called this morning to tell me he got a call today to go get a package from DHL!! WE HAVE OUR INTERVIEW Jan 27th!! :dance: I can't stop smiling and really this is the best Christmas present I ever got!! Who knows how long it will be after that but it sure feels good to have another step in the process started!!

November 15, 2005 - Arrival at JFK!!!

January 28, 2006 - WEDDING!!!

February 27, 2006 - Sent in AOS

June 23, 2006 - AP approved

June 29, 2006 - EAD approved

June 29, 2006 - Transferred to CSC

October 2006 - 2 year green card received!

July 15, 2008 - Sent in I-751

July 22, 2008 - I-751 NOA

Thank you so much! Ashraf couldnt believe it either! The embassy must have looked at it before Eid and DHL was working today (Ashraf didnt think they were back to work until tomorrow) We never expected to get a notice this soon for his interview! Ashraf said he was sleeping late this morning and his dad came to wake him up saying that DHL called and wanted to arrange to meet him to get his package! What a great surprise! And you are right, it doesn't really matter how it happened the important thing is it happened!! :D

Took 214 Days for a denial, but IN 205 days He will be HOME

6/10/05 Abdou arrives in America, what a happy day!

6/13/05 Applied for SSN

6/23/05 6 p.m. We were MARRIED; honeymoon in Gatlinburg

8/13/05 AOS and EAD paperwork mailed

8/25/05 NOAs in the mail!!! Yea!

11/25/05 - BIOMETRIC DATE

01/26/06 - AOS SUCCESSFUL INTERVIEW AND HE GETS HIS FIRST JOB AT FIRST JOB INTERVIEW

02/13/06 - GREEN CARD ARRIVED

4/22/06 - Driver's License!!

11/05/2007 Filed to Lift conditions[/color]

11/07/07 - NOA1 received

12/21/07 - Biometrics completed

04/08/08 - 10 YEAR CARD APPROVED

04/14/08 - CARD IN HAND !!!!!

11/3/08 - Filed for Citizenship

11/29/08 - Biometric Appointment

02/03/09 - Citizenship Interview, HE PASSED

That is great!!!!! Wow you mailed it the 11th and got letter on the 22nd for an interview January 27th. I was hoping more like an interview by Jan 15th and we are not mailing out Packet 3 until the 27th of December. Oh well, at least as you said another step has been completed. I wish you the best. Thanks for sharing. Keep us posted.
