Processing time difference between 129 F for K1 and K3 visa

Hi VJs,

I am deeply concerned about some information I saw. The Vermont center has been very active processing and approving 129F petition for K1 visa (close to September), but lagging significantly in approving 129F petition for K3 visa (stuck on July). Shouldn’t the priority be the same since it’s the same form???

Any on e has any clarification in this subject, and on whether 129F petition for K3 visa be approved and sent to NVC before approval of associated 130 petition?

Back when K3 cases had their I-130 and I-129F petitions adjudicated separately, even at separate service centers, the processing times were comparable. Now the two petitions are adjudicated together, so it has been taking longer for the K3 than K1 from NOA1 to NOA2.
