Hello. We've received our NOA2 and my Fiance just received her forms and checklist. We discovered, to our horror, that I mistyped her birthdate on the I-129F form (birthdate is listed as 1983 instead of 1982). Her biographic information, form G-325A, was entered correctly. What should we do about this? Should we notify the consulate of the error or USCIS or both?

The consulate will get the correct information when your fiance brings her birth certificate to the interview. I really doubt it will cause any problems.

just suggest: when your fiancee post back p3 to consulate,in the forms, she can correct the date and attach a statement that u made mistake when u first filed.anyway, she has to bring the birth notarization to the interview.

I'd make no more mistakes on the date but not mention it, particularly if the database has the correct date. That means they name check was done for the correct person already so, no harm, no foul.

When you call DOS or NVC, they can confirm they have the correct birthdate on file.
