Does anyone know what usually (used loosely) happens after you are transfered to CSC?

Typically, you wait for your name to clear FBI namecheck and then they send you the greencard without an interview. The process can take anywhere from two to xx months.

Probably a dumb question... What is CSC ? ( CSC refers to California Service Center ???)

Does a transfer to CSC mean that he/she is approved a GC without an interview ?

Not a dumb question, Journeyman. Yes, CSC refers to California Service Center. And a transfer to CSC "usually" means that the applicant will be approved for a GC without an interview. Not a guarantee, but close.

:o Wow. I'm impressed. People are actually receiving a GC in one month? Amazing.

Yep. I've seen a few timelines lately who got their green card approved 3 weeks (or less) after transfer to CSC.

Hi Tracy!

Hiya dev! :)

And I'm glad to say that Caladan was one of the speedy ones! :) Ours took a little longer, but no big shakes. At least we didn't have to drive 3 1/2 hours to Memphis for an interview!! Plus 2 months for USCIS to approve anything is, quite frankly, impressive!
