not sure if this is the right place to ask this question. we are waiting on our interview date and I am wondering about getting my fiance some ID when he gets here. He is from London and does not drive so he does not have a driver's license, but here in the State of Washington you can get an ID card from the DOL that is just and ID card not a Drivers License. Can my fiance get one of these right away? does anyone know what is required?? I know that applying for a social security card requires 2 forms of ID, so I am looking to get him ID other than his passport. will also make many other documents, bank accounts easier if he has a state ID card. any advice??

thanks :help:

We (in Texas) got our State ID shortly after getting the Social Security Card (you don't need a US ID to get the social).
