8A - 11A (Lines start at approx 6A and they usually around the block by 7-7:30A, so come early. The counter closes promptly at 11A no matter what...any people standing in line are turned away; This is the best place to pick up paperwork even though the wait is awful. Also best place to plead your case since it's so hard to get through on the phone and the email/fax rarely get any results.

For K1 - Everyone I know has recieved at least DS-230 Part I with their Packet 3. My fiancee recieved DS-156 and DS-156K in addition, while others only got DS-156K or DS-156. There does not appear to be any uniformity at all.

Medical Instructions
The medical instructions in Packet 4 can be found on the following site, but you need the Appt letter from the consulate to get the medical done.

Packet 4 is actually mailed out in an efficient manner when they have scheduled your interview date, so there is no need to pick it up at the consulate. If you do pick up Packet 4 at eh consulate, a consulate employee will move anyone with an interview date to the head of the line so they can pick up their paperwork.

In consultation with the U.S. Public Health Service, we have expanded our panel physician program to include Breach Candy, Lilavati, and Hinduja Hospitals in Mumbai. Applicants may choose whichever of these designated hospitals is most convenient for them. At the time of the scheduled medical examination, the designated hospitals will require that everyone present a valid passport, the original visa appointment letter, three (3) recent identical color passport-sized photographs and old medical/vaccination records. Applicants must make all arrangements for medical examinations, tests, and vaccinations with the hospitals directly. The fees mentioned below are subject to change. Applicants should re-confirm the fees at the time of making appointments.
